Crafty Cardmakers Challenge 179 – Christmas with a twist

Kim is hosting our final challenge of 2016. We would love to see your Christmas creations, but there is a twist which we would love you to play; we want to see your non traditional Christmas projects. Anything quirky and unusual and not typically thought of as Christmas would be fabulous please. You can play along with a normal Christmas creation if you prefer, but we hope that many of you will play the twist and inspire us with different ideas!
As usual You can enter anything you fancy, it doesn’t have to just be cards, as long as it meets the challenge, and doesn’t exceed the 15 total challenges entered rule!

We are sponsored for our final challenge of the year by Kimx who has donated all this lovely stash!  Why not join in, because you never know, you may be the lucky winner!

So here is my card – my brain doesn’t really do quirky, so this is the best I could do!

I stamped out my sheep, then masked it and did the background with distress inks.  I coloured in the holly and the coloured elements on the sheep with promarkers, keeping the colour down to a minimum of one red and one green.
It hasn’t photographed particularly well, but I coloured the baubles in the sentiment in with a clear stardust gelly roll pen.She has donated all this lovely stash!e
Unfortunately, the stamps were old ones from my stash and as I used to just file them on sheets without the paperwork, I have no idea who made them.  I suspect they won’t be available any more anyway!
It’s the end of our challenges for 2016 for Crafty Cardmakers, and we will be back in the new year. I hope to see everyone again then for a new round of projects to share with you.
